Dr. Anne Del Borgo Animal Welfare Scholarship Fund: This fund provides financial support for veterinary students and veterinary technician students who have a demonstrated interest in animal welfare and reside in, or plan to reside in, Maine. This fund was started in memory of Dr. Anne Del Borgo, who chaired Maine's Animal Welfare Advisory Council and was a leader on animal welfare issues in the state. It is funded both through the Maine Veterinary Education Foundation as well as through direct gifts from MVMA members. Both veterinary and veterinary technician students are encouraged to apply.  Anyone interested in making a donation to this fund may do so here. Applicants can apply for the Dr. Anne Del Borgo Animal Welfare Scholarship using the appropriate veterinary or technician application above.

Congratulations to our 2025 Scholarship Winners!
