Power of 10 Program

Power of 10 is a national leadership development program for early career veterinarians that has been adopted by many state veterinary medical associations. It is designed to help recent graduates develop skills in leadership, communication, and business. In 2020 the MVMA is offering the Power of 10 virtually and we hope that this will give our members across the state the opportunity to participate in the program.

Key Benefits

Through the Power of Ten, participants will:

  • Develop fundamental understanding of leadership skills and emotional intelligence
  • Deepen comprehension of communication styles and skills
  • Acquire critical skills to intensify business acumen
  • Gain the competency to utilize these skills within one’s life, practice and community
  • Heighten awareness of one’s self and better understand how to maximize interactions with those around you

Interested in joining?

The Power of 10 program was founded on the belief that a small cohort of about 10 folks is the ideal supportive size. To that end, spots will be awarded on a first come first serve basis with a maximum of 10 participants. Please contact Katherine Soverel as soon as possible ([email protected]) if you would like to join!
